The Network Administrator professional is responsible of planning and implementing computers networks: installation, ongoing maintenance and control. This unique program is designed to prepare you for the CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching Certification Exam. In addition it contains all the necessary knowledge in commuters networking. CCNA is Cisco’s first and most basic qualification, which serves as a proof to the professional level of a network administrator. Cisco is the largest company in the field of computer networkong, and the knowledge it conveys is vital to anyone involved in this field. The program provides all the basic knowledge in the installation, definition, operation and repair of integrated networks, switches and routers, and provides all the knowledge required for IP protocols. Your decision on the field of specialty is critical to your future and to the opportunities that will be come along your professional path. Therefore, your decision should be based on a thorough understanding of all the possible professional fields and on an understanding of the further ways of developing a professional career. Attendance in at least 80% of lectures. At the end of every module, there will be an examination and/or an assignment. Students must obtain an average of at least 70%. There is a possibility to take a make-up exam. In technical modules –”hands-on” practice in class and at home (using computer labs).
The course will be held twice a week, in the evenings. There will be 280 hours of in-class lectures (8 months), and 320 homework assignments. Lectures are held at See-Security College in Ramat-Gan. The program opens about three times a year
The lecturers of this program are the pride of our college. All of them are mature, ages 32 to 40, and are very experienced. Yaki Ben-Nissan the Director of the program, is an Information Security developer and Lecturer; Rafi Bitton, Comsec’s Cyber Defense Advisor; Shai Schwarzwald, Director of infrastructure for Channel 2 and a senior lecturer.
Student who will meet the pedagogic requirements of the program will be awarded by See-Security College as a: Network Administrator In addition, after completing the programs, students should sit for the Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing & Switching certification).
