    About the CISO Training Programme

    A unique programme for IT professional and experienced cybersecurity personnel who wish to advance their skills to the managerial level as cyber Architects, Methodologists and CISOs

    This programme is designed for individuals with a solid background in IT and cybersecurity, who wish to take their knowledge and skills to the managerial level and master architectural (technologies) and methodological (governance and policies) of cybersecurity towards a full Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) certification. Students can accredit their knowledge by taking the prestigious CISSP certification at the end of the course.

    This well-designed programme was originally built for government and special agencies in Israel and is the ‘gold-standard’ training for senior cybersecurity personnel in the Israeli market.     About the Programme

    The programme has been designed to accommodate the contents and skills taught in various CISO programmes offered by different cybersecurity educational institutes around the world.

    In 2004, See-Security has created the first CISO programme in the world. The programme is in accordance with the Israeli National Cyber Directorate regulations as well as the (ISC)2 requirements for the CISSP certification. The programme allows students to take the ISACA-CISM, CSA-CCSK and PECB-ISO27001 exams and is continuously updating to follow the new regulations and best-practices of the field.

    The growing demand for well-educated and knowledgeable cyber defense experts requires a broad and in-depth background in both the technological architecture and governance aspects which are embedded in a well-established and proven pedagogical methodology.

    The curriculum is designed to train cyber defense experts who are able to advise, guide and make decisions on information security tasks, both in the technology-tactical and administrative-governmental aspects. These abilities will be acquired through mastery of the best practice strategies, tactics, techniques, and industry-related regulations, including risk management skills, law aspects, and knowledge in offensive and intelligence principles. Step by step, you will gain a full theoretical and practical mastery as an aspiring CISO.

    This programme is in accordance with the requirements of the Israeli National Cyber ​​Directorate (INCD) and includes preparation for the world’s top international certification in Cyber ​​Defense: the (ISC)2-CISSP. Naturally, our graduates can also take easier international certifications such as ISACA’s CISM, CompTIA’s Security + or (ISC)2-SSCP.

    About the (ISC)2-CISSP Certification

    This cybersecurity certification is an elite way to demonstrate your knowledge, advance your career and become a member of a community of cybersecurity leaders. It shows you have all it takes to design, engineer, implement and run an information security program.

    The CISSP is an objective measure of excellence. It’s the most globally recognized standard of achievement in the industry. And this cybersecurity certification was the first information security credential to meet the strict conditions of ISO/IEC Standard 17024.

    At the end of our CISO programme, you will get the official (ISC)2 CISSP Bootcamp, to make sure you consolidate the knowledge you have learnt and to allow you to take the exam after graduation.

    About the ISACA-CISM Certification

    ISACA’s Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification indicates expertise in information security governance, program development and management, incident management and risk management. This certification is recommended for methodologist who do not wish to work as Cyber Architects.

    Target Audience

    This programme is designed for those who have theoretical and practical experience in system and networking, or those with a BSc (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Software Engineering who wish to gain an education in cybersecurity architecture and methodologies en-route to a CISO certification.

    Further, the programme is suitable for cybersecurity professionals who want to acquire the skills involved in the role of cyber defense architect and cybersecurity methodologist with a deep understanding of how to lead a cyber unit in an organization. Candidates can take the CISSP or CISM test with upgraded capabilities and knowledge to accredit their studies via international and highly known cybersecurity accreditation organizations [(ISC)2 and ISACA].

    Entry Requirements

    You will not be tested on these requirements for enrolment. However, we emphasize that without background knowledge it will be difficult to keep up with materials covered throughout the course and even more challenging to pass the exams and assignments. The following are required:

    1. Practical knowledge and experience in IT systems and networking.
    2. Familiarity with cybersecurity solutions and products
    3. Good command of the English language
    4. Passing an admission interview

    Or:

    1. BSc (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Software Engineering
    2. Good command of the English language
    3. Passing an admission interview

    Pedagogical Requirements

    1. Attendance of at least 85% of the sessions
    2. A passing grade in each of the five exams 
    3. A passing grade on the two seminars 
    4. A passing grade on the mid-term and final papers.

    Programme Format

    Certifications

    A See-Security certificate will be awarded to students who fulfil the pedagogical requirement.

    Nadav Nachmias, Adv., MBA, CISSP

    As an International (ISC)2 Instructor for CISSP, Nadav serves as the Pedagogical Manager of the college and head of CISO Program with a wealth of experience in Cybersecurity counselling for critical sectors for Technology Architecture and Methodological aspects.

    Elazar Biro

    With over 12 years of experience, Elazar is an expert in incident response and SOC. As a methodologist, he is implementing and training IR teams and SOC managers. He had worked in many international organisations including the IDF and civilian companies where he formed SOC centres and implemented cybersecurity solutions.

    Itzik Moshe

    Head of Hacking Defined Experts programme, Itzik is an experienced cybersecurity researcher and penetration tester. In his 20 years of experience, Itzik has worked with governmental, military and intelligence agencies both nationally and internationally.

    Ami Zarfati, OSCP, CCE, CISO

    A senior cybersecurity professional with a focus on Malware Analysis, SOC, Incident Response, Forensic and Cyber threat intelligence. Ami has a rich experience in designing, training and implementing SIEM-SOC centers in large-scale and sensitive organisations and state agencies. Currently, Ami manages the cybersecurity monitoring center at Ben-Gurion Airport. He is a senior lecturer in our CISO program.

    Udi Baruch, MSCE, CISO

    Cybersecurity Architect team Leader at Amdocs. Udi is a lecturer in the CSP and CISO programs, with a specialization in application security. He obtained a variety of certification, including MCSE, CISO and HDE, alongside extensive experience in code review, implementation of cybersecurity methodologies and technological solutions and penetration testing.

    Eyal Asila, CISO

    A senior CISO with over 20 years of experience, Eyal is now a strategic consultant for many leading international companies. He is the lead in quantum computing, machine learning and crisis management at Ethos Group. He is well-known in the Israeli cybersecurity community and advances research and technological solution in the field.

    Itzik Haberberg, MBA, PMP, CISSP

    Now an experienced cybersecurity professional, Itzik started his training in his military service at the Israeli intelligence corps. since 1998, he has gained knowledge and experience in project and risk management, infrastructures and strategic consulting. He is also a trained coacher and teaches methodological aspects of our CISO program.

    Itzik Kohav, MSc, CISO

    A cybersecurity expert in the military and healthcare systems. Founder of the School for Information Security at the Israeli Air Forces, Itzik is now a senior lecturer at See Security College. He has won multiple national awards for his pioneering work in the field.

    David (Dudu) Broda, CISSP, CISO

    As senior cybersecurity consultant and certified CISSP lecturer, Dudu has gained comprehensive experience in infrastructures and different aspects of cybersecurity. He obtained numerous international certifications including Sec+, CISA, PMP and more. Dudu is a lecturer in our official (ISC)2 CISSP boot-camp and CISO program.

    Yaniv Avolov, BA, CISSP

    With over 10 years of experience, Yaniv has a rich experience in cybersecurity management in large-scale financial and high-tech organisations. He served as CISO for the Israeli Post. Today, Yaniv is an entrepreneur in an IoT and ICS start-up and is a lecturer in our official (ISC)2 CISSP boot-camp and CISO program

    Kobi Pinto, M.A, CISSP, CRISC

    Deputy CISO at Bank Hapoalim. Kobi served as director of the cyber technology unit at the department of information security and cyber protection of the Bank and is one of the most experienced information security personnel in Israel. In his various roles, he outlined the methodologies and technological tools used by the Bank to meet the various regulations and to secure the information of customers. He is a senior lecturer at our CISO programme.

    Ishai Wertheimer, MBA, CISSP, CISA

    CPA and former cybersecurity lead at KMPG international and fraud risk manager at Cal Credit and CISSP certified, Ishai has comprehensive knowledge and skills in cyber methodologies, governance, risk management, law regulations and technological infrastructure. With over 15 years of experience, Ishai is a senior lecturer in our CISO program.

    Moshe Ferber

    An entrepreneur, investor, popular industry speaker and cloud security evangelist, working on building the next generation of cybersecurity solutions.  Moshe served as a high-ranking manager in large corporations, founder of innovative start-ups, a frequent lecturer at cyber conferences and a major contributor to various cloud education programs and certifications. Moshe is a certified instructor for ISC2-CCSP & CCSK certifications.

    Omri Rachum-Twaig, PhD, CISSP

    Holding a PhD in law and CISSP certification, Omri is an experienced academic with a focus on cyber law and regulations. In his practical work, Omri is an attorney, specialising in cyber law and information technology and a partner in the firm Fisher Bachar Chen Wall Orion & Co. Throughout his career, he has gained experience as a lecturer both in academia and in our college, and since 2017, is delivering classes as part of our CISO program.

    Amit Koren

    With over 20 years of experience in the field, Amit has a broad knowledge and expertise in cybersecurity. Amit has practical experience in managing large-scale security projects. He is the founder and CTO at INNOSEC, leading the development of STORM Cyber Risk Management. Since 2011 he has been researching and developing cyber risk management methodologies. Amit is a visiting lecturer in our CISO program.

    Rotem Bar

    With over 20 years of experience, Rotem has a strong background in ICS and industrial control systems. Rotem serves as the Director of Operational Infrastructure at Trans-Israel pipeline and provides consultancy in software and information security for clients and projects in Israel and abroad. He is a visiting lecturer in our CISO and CSP programs, teaching SCADA.

    Ran Levi, BSc, CISA

    A cybersecurity expert, practitioner and lecturer since 2016. He is the lead of cyber consultancy at Innosec, a company that offers cyber risk management solutions and consultancy. He has a wealth of experience in PT, analysis, SOC, risk management and auditing in a variety of organisations in the industry. Ran joined our college in 2017 as a visiting CISO lecturer.

    Sisi Hacohen, CISO, GRC Auditor

    A senior CISO with over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity consultant, Sisi established the consulting division at ONE1 company. She is currently leading a company for extended information security services that provides services to leading international organizations. Sisi specializes in providing complex solutions and support for cross-organizational projects.
