This program was designed in cooperation with Israeli security agencies and on the basis of the requirements of the Israeli Forum for Information Security (IFIS) in the Prime Minister’s Office. The program is aimed to train Forensics experts whom are familiar with different means of deciphering computer events, and whom are able to restore software and hardware failures. Finally, cyber forensics experts are responsible to prevent such events from occurring.
The Forensics tool set is designed to provide means for deciphering computer crime incidents.The use of such tools is usually done in the following cases:
In a legal framework – for the purpose of examining computer systems used by the defendants, or the plaintiffs. For the purpose of recovering information on media damaged by hardware or software failure. To understand the processes that exist in the system, in order to improve performance, or to restore a malfunction and ultimately preventing it in the future. In order to understand the processes that take place in the system at the time of the attack, in order to understand and prevent the attack from reoccurring the future, or to identify the attacker. The Israeli Forum for Information Security (IFIS) defined the requirements of the profession as follows: a person with up-to-date knowledge and high practical ability in the field of Forensics with the following knowledge and skills:

There will be 48 hours of in-class lectures (2 months), and 80 homework assignments. Lectures are held at See-Security College in Ramat-Gan. The program opens about three times a year Certifications: Students who will meet the pedagogic requirements of the program will be awarded by See-Security College as: Cyber Security Forensics Professional level-1 Entry Requirements: Knowledge of English. | Basic knowledge in Computers. | Graduation from high-school | Readability to invest in self-guided homework assignments (for a total of 220 practice hours). | Successfully passing an admission interview. After Graduating – What Comes Next? The program requires knowledge in system and networking aspects (Operating systems, networking and ideally initial acquaintance with cyber defense tools) and is not suitable for beginners. BSC\BA grad\post in the field of Computer Science, Software\ Hardware Engineering may also apply.
Attendance in at least 80% of lectures. At the end of every module, there will be an examination and/or an assignment. Students must obtain an average of at least 70%. There is a possibility to take a make-up exam. In technical modules –”hands-on” practice in class and at home (using computer labs).

Mr. Oren Elimelech, is a CISM and CISSP certified cybersecurity counsellor. He gained his training from See Security college. Mr. Elimelech is a senior lecturer of the Forensics Program and has more than 20 years of experience in consulting, project support and integration in cyberspace. He is also a certified cyber investigations expert and a senior lecturer for public and private bodies in Israel and abroad. Students who fail to meet the course requirements are encouraged to re-take the entire course, or part of it, without any additional costs.
