    About the Program

    This program was designed in cooperation with Israeli security agencies and on the basis of the requirements of the Israeli Forum for Information Security (IFIS) in the Prime Minister’s Office. The program is the continuation of our Cyber Forensics Level-1 program.

    The program is designed for people who want to expand memory and decoding knowledge from images, and to learn about transient data stored in memory that is lost when the system is active. Participants will learn to extract evidential information such as memory malware, passwords/passphrases, Internet history, and other information from the system’s memory. Students will acquire relevant knowledge and hands-on skills such as:

    • Introduction to Memory Forensics
    • Memory Acquisition
    • Volatility for RAM Analysis
    • File Carving
    • Fuzzy Hashing
    • Analysis of Extracted Malware Specimen

    Program Format:
    The course will be held twice a week, in the evenings. There will be 104 hours of in-class lectures (26 sessions. 4 months), and 200 homework assignments. Lectures are held at See-Security College in Ramat-Gan. The program opens about three times a year

    Target Audience:
    The course is targeted to individuals with a background in infrastructure, IT or cybersecurity professionals, or those with a background in development, with an organizational background.
    Entry Requirements:
    Ideally- Previous background in IT and/or cybersecurity, OR/AND: | Organizational background, AND: |Readability to invest in self-guided homework assignments (for a total of 200 practice hours).

    Target Audience

    The program is targeted at individuals with practical experience in cyber forensics or those who have graduated from our cyber forensics level-1 program.

    Pedagogical Requirements

    Attendance in at least 80% of lectures.
    At the end of every module, there will be an examination and/or an assignment. Students must obtain an average of at least 70%. There is a possibility to take a make-up exam.
    In technical modules –”hands-on” practice in
    class and at home (using computer labs).

    Program Format

    The course will be held twice a week, in the evenings. There will be 280 hours of in-class lectures (8 months), and 320 homework assignments. Lectures are held at See-Security College in Ramat-Gan. The program opens about three times a year

    Academic Faculty

    Mr. Oren Elimelech, is a CISM and CISSP certified cybersecurity counsellor. He gained his training from See Security college. Mr. Elimelech is a senior lecturer of the Forensics Program and has more than 20 years of experience in consulting, project support and integration in cyberspace. He is also a certified cyber investigations expert and a senior lecturer for public and private bodies in Israel and abroad.     Students who will meet the pedagogic requirements of the program will be awarded by See-Security College as:

    Cyber Security Forensics Professional level-2

    Students who fail to meet the course requirements are encouraged to re-take the entire course, or part of it, without any additional costs.
