Devops Engineer

Position Responsibilities:

Manage the enterprise architecture of Microsoft Team Foundation Server

Design and manage DevOps Configuration Management & Continuous Integration/Deployment Services (build, packaging and deployment)

Design, document, implement, and maintain scripts to enhance current build/release processes

Report to R&D team manager

Job Requirements

Experience with source control systems and experience in configuration management (TFS or Jenkins, Git, Jira, etc)

Excellent script skills (Bash, PowerShell or Python)

Database usage experience and understanding (preferred – MSSQL, knowledge in SSRS is a big advantage)

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas – an advantage:

”           Experience with TFS – a significant advantage

”           Programming knowledge in C# or Java

”           Familiarity with Artifactory, Nuget and NPM Packaging

”           Familiarity in code analysis tools, such as Sonar

”           Experience using Configuration Management tools, such as Chef, Puppet

”           WEB (JavaScript, ASP.NET, REST, WCF and more)

”           Security principles and techniques (encryption, authentication protocols)

”           Administration experience with Linux/Unix platforms (Solaris, AIX, RH)
